I am forever enthralled by millennial novels with a crackling, fresh voice set in big cities featuring BIPOC characters grappling with life in various ways. Extra points if the novels are set in NY the outer boroughs.

I am a voracious fantasy reader. I’m looking for BIPOC fantasies in both, YA and crossover. Give me intrigue, emotional nuance and astounding character arcs. I have always made my home in this genre. Send me some!

#VampiresVsTheBronx is exactly the creative gentrification story I've been wanting T_T A middle grade GN #mswl of mine for the last 2/3 years has been a contemporary story following a POC character dealing with gentrification in the NYC neighborhood they grew up in.
