So I've mentioned to a few people how lately instead of looking for escapism I gravitate more than ever toward books about loss & grief & suffering, in my need to feel less alone with the emotions. In thinking what this means for my worklife and my #mswl --

#amquerying writers: I'm really in the mood for high concept (i.e. emphasis on plot) romances/women's fic with HEA, especially stories where the romantic interest is perceived to be the obstacle to the protagonist's goals and we get all that delicious tension 😍 #mswl

(Ha! I have to admit I love the sordid details of this alleged scandal from start to finish. It would make a GREAT novel, and then a dramedy on HBO! Who would play the lover? Who would play the wife (she would make a GREAT protagonist)? And who is the true power player? #MSWL)
