Looking for some great middle-grade fiction (contemporary or fantasy preferred) with supportive adult figures! Parents (of any "type") who aren't villains. BUT, I still want the MC to have the agency in the story. Does your book do this? Yes? Send it my way! #MSWL

another #mswl: nonfiction about Fandom Culture. I scream into the void about toxic fandom, but i'm up for a positive fandom book too. It's just so interesting to me!

Ahhhhh, YES. I would love this so much. I'm not one for anime or comics; I want mainstream. I've been involved in 3 fandoms throughout different periods of my life & there is a ton to delve into. (Like how many people have gotten into relationships? Or just the culture) #MSWL

Talking about interesting settings for romantic suspense books today and this article about living in a ghost town popped up. I wonder what could happen in a place like this... bit.ly/2JoHQGH #MSWL

I'd love to see suspense books with interesting, evocative outdoor settings like national parks (Grand Canyon, Yellowstone) or snowy mountains or deserts.

My Grand Canyon tour guide told us it can take days to reach a plane/helicopter crash in the canyon on foot for recovery. Play around with that for a "what if..." #MSWL

I mention friendship a lot but it’s such a huge part of Middle and high school. Lately I’ve read a lot of (published) mg & ya with really bad/toxic friendships. I’d love to see strong, positive, healthy friendships in my inbox 💛❤️ #mswl

Realized I've always liked #horror stories about archeological digs and discoveries where things aren't how they seem. #MSWL

So excited for Elizabeth Acevedo’s new book it reminds me how much I want a #YA novel with a teen mom or dad protagonist. #mswl

Last week I wanted a Arya story. This week I want a Sansa book, about a girl who goes through fucking hell and back and then ends up as the queen! #mswl

Honestly one of the best novels I’ve ever read. Pick up @pengshepherd’s book! twitter.com/pengshepherd/s…

I talk a lot about how my favorite kind of literary fiction blends genres, pulling the speculative or a bit of magic into it.

And this one is a perfect, stunning example of that.

More books like @pengshepherd’s in my query box, please. #MSWL
