Today @jcon713 told @Jorjorbiinks and I that we were dressed like two Victorian women out to solve a murder, which A) is how I would like my clothing aesthetic to be described forevermore, and B) Uhhhhh... #MSWL

For every #mglit author of adventure, fantasy, & sci-fi who is seeing your book left off lists of adults' favorites: Our books are often considered less serious because of our genres—but they're the books that often stay in kids' minds, the books that kids reread. Courage.I love this thread. It speaks exactly to the kind of books I love and want to work on and why I want to work on them. #MSWL
Correction #2: Middle Grade: Humor--if you can make me laugh, I'll sign you up. Literary: I've never had a Newbery-winning client and I want one. Adventure stories, grounded fantasy (but not epic fantasy), sci-fi. #ownvoices for sure. Artists, MG graphic novels! #MSWL

YA: Much the same as MG--humor, realistic teen stories, #ownvoices, adventure, sci-fi. Also, love a good teen romance, horror, mystery, but not super-dark.
Children's NF at all levels: curriculum tie-ins, PB bios, multicultural history, science, sports, pop culture.
