"Dark, twisted, borderline disturbing… words I’d use to describe my interest in thrillers. Not looking for gore at the moment, but definitely into psychological elements. Especially fictionalized accounts of actual crimes." @claire_m_harris #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

I stayed awake until 1am reading queries, prompting a procrastination desire to create a no context, visual only, super unhinged #mswl
If you’re thinking of querying me in the future & wonder if you should avoid it bc I too am unhinged, look no further

"Psychology is perhaps my favorite field in nonfiction. I’d love to read stories about therapists and their patients in the vein of MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO SOMEONE by Lori Gottlieb and GOOD MORNING, MONSTER by Catherine Gildiner." @ceciliaclyra #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/I can't get enough of psychology books! #WritingCommunity #MSWL

Looking for that romantic YA fantasy! Give me stories that hinge on those relationships, the emotional nuance, where we’re in it for the tension and angst and the feels #MSWL

Once a month, my high school boyfriend calls. I’ve shared this before. And I’m sure I’ll share it a million times. But once a month he calls. This needs to be a story. It needs to be a book with a happy ending. Someone write it, and then we can revel more in the “what if’s” and “if only’s” of all of our pasts, and make them come to life…if only in our minds…#MSWL

Very happy to emcee this amazing event!!! Some of Detroit’s best dressed men competed in the Times Square competition on the Avenue Of Fashion. All were winners!!!@FOX2News @WWJ950 #detroit #fashion pic.twitter.com/ouEQVmIiEfWow, I’d love a picture book MS about something like this from a Black author — celebrating the history and present of Black men’s style. So sharp! #MSWL

Some #MSWL things:1) MG fantasy, please! Especially myth-based, w/a strong focus on character, & a beautiful world/setting.
2) Contemporary MG/YA with LGBTQ+ characters.
3) MG graphic novels!
4) Underrepresented voices.
5) YA or MG that deals w/grief and/or mental health.
Briefly popping back in to say that I'm still looking for contemporary w/LGBTQIA+ characters! Same goes for the rest of the list, but I'm especially in the mood for contemporary right now. Really looking for strong voice w/a compelling internal conflict. #MSWL
