Nonfiction

Eric Smith @ericsmithrocks · Jan 30

Hey writer friends!

I've been closed to submissions since the summer and... I'll be opening up again on March 1st!

Literary fiction! Young Adult books! SFF! Cookbooks! Quirky non-fiction and moving memoir! Here's what I'm looking for in 2019. #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/2019/01/30/man…

Jessica Faust @BookEndsJessica · Jan 29

I'm also looking for nonfiction, but not memoirs. I prefer business, personal empowerment, and self-help books #MSWL

Finally updated my profile on the official #MSWL website. You can see the genres I'm acquiring including a few new ones including horror, suspense/thrillers, science fiction/fantasy, and I'm expanding into YA, MG and some nonfiction. manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/sari…

I've been getting some really wonderful nonfiction queries, so keep 'em coming! Recent books I've loved are Sarah Smarsh's HEARTLAND & Victoria Johnson's AMERICAN EDEN, while books I'm looking forward to include Casey Cep's FURIOUS HOURS & Robert Macfarlane's UNDERLAND. #mswl

So it’s been a while since I did a #MSWL thread, and I’m stuck in the car, so now seems as good a time as any! pic.twitter.com/xf6B32GAhT

Just as a reminder, I am open to MG and YA of all categories, Adult SFF, Adult Romance, and select nonfiction. For my static #MSWL and sub guidelines, please check out my website. Link in bio!

"Non-fic like Clayton M. Christensen's THE INNOVATOR'S DILEMMA & Michael Lewis' FLASH BOYS." @CurtisPSLA #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Clelia Gore @MadmoiselleClel · Jan 21

And I'm also really craving some MG or YA narrative nonfiction. Something a middle grader or teen can really relate to--a true story that has resonance in their modern lives. A commercial story with curriculum appeal (not other way around). The 57 Bus was a recent fave #mswl

I am DYING to read this book. Seriously, much excite.

So, as a reminder, if you have a nonfiction project like this, I will always, always want to see it. #mswl

2019 #MSWL: a fantasy or sf romance with the depth of plot, character & worldbuilding of Nalini Singh's fab books. Nonfiction like THE BUTCHERING ART. Smart, fun not-guilty-pleasure reading like CRAZY RICH ASIANS. Great YA epic fantasy (and contemporary).

I. Want. An. Influencer. Book.

Either NF about the dirty secrets of influencer culture or realistic fiction of the same. #MSWL

"Non-fiction like Joseph McCormack's BRIEF: MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT BY SAYING LESS." @CurtisPSLA #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Hi all! Here is my current #mswl! In short, I'm focused on developing four areas of my clientele in 2019: (1) PB author-illustrators; (2) MG fiction; (3) Graphic novels; and (4) Nonfiction across all kid lit genres. Hit me up, queryers! cleliagore.com/2019/01/11/201…

Matt Wagner @mattwagner · Jan 10

#MSWL someone great with Instagram, with an established platform of followers and something to teach businesses small and large. Hit me up :)

Katelyn Uplinger @KatelynUplinger · Jan 9

For those #amquerying I remain open to queries. Genres high on my #mswl for 2019 in adult and YA include horror, historical fantasy, chilling mysteries, and tense stories about survival. In nonfiction would love some weird or fun history.

Rebecca Raskin @RJ_Raskin · Jan 8

My 2019 #MSWL: Science nonfiction! Marine biology, weird medical things, stories of research and discovery!
