Thanks to @AARWeb and @ReadingReligion for a great review of Christian Martyrs under Islam: “This is an excellent and balanced book that I highly recommend for scholars and advanced students in every field related to the Middle East.” @PrincetonUPress readingreligion.org/books/christia…Had the luck of starting—+ well on track to finishing—this terrific account of martyrdom under Islam; another example of a #MSWL NF for this agent in love with research. Hagiographies are studies of exp.; v. interesting to see personal/communal exps. contextualized historically.

A last thought for the eve, before W. descends into her multi-story-deep reading cavern. One #MSWL for NF: a recent acq. linked me to this 'practical philosophers' project' of @ReD_Associates, which aids biz theory: amzn.to/30EHuSu. Would love a project like this for me!

I wonder if there is a way to do a YA Nonfiction True Crime book. #MSWL Not sure what it would look like but it would be interesting. This is different than my fiction request for murder mysteries.

another #mswl: nonfiction about Fandom Culture. I scream into the void about toxic fandom, but i'm up for a positive fandom book too. It's just so interesting to me!Ahhhhh, YES. I would love this so much. I'm not one for anime or comics; I want mainstream. I've been involved in 3 fandoms throughout different periods of my life & there is a ton to delve into. (Like how many people have gotten into relationships? Or just the culture) #MSWL

A #MSWL for #NationalParanormalDay: I'd love some nonfiction about ghosts at the moment. Think GHOSTLAND, only even spookier! Creepy exploration of ghost stories and where they come from (but also so scary it gives me chills)

We didn’t really celebrate #EarthDay when I was young, though the holiday has actually existed since 1970. Glad we’re now using reusable containers for my kids’ lunches instead of all those brown bags! I’d love to see #MG #NF about the story behind Earth Day #MSWL #WishWednesday
