Some specific holes I'm looking to fill on my list #mswl

- adult/NA cozy fantasy (w/romance)
- ya thriller/mystery & horror
- adult & ya romantasy, fantasy, epic fantasy
- more fantasy books that appeal to a masculine audience w/o relying on frustrating clichés

@kgisondi .bsky.social is also in a cozy mood - with a twist!

elanaroth.bsky.social would love a cozy genre mashup!

First up, tajmccoy.bsky.social is looking for a spicy romantic mystery!

Some specific #MSWL cravings I’ve had these days for my YA list:

-high-concept post apocalyptic
-a romantic gothic/horror mystery
-beautiful, voicey trans/genderqueer anything
-yearning/longing vibes
-enemies/rivals to lovers
-twisted romance
-dark academia in a non-European setting

Monsters, historical, trans and POC horror, horror romance, space survival. Onto fantasy: give me epic, political, sweeping and expansive. Murder mysteries at court, backstabbing gentry, fantasy of manners…

Y'all know Jess always wants gothic vibes. Old houses, eerie landscapes, creeping dread. Horror? Mystery? Literary? Doesn’t matter. If your book feels like a haunted house you can’t leave, send it. #MSWL

🚨 Tommy Dean’s Spring #MSWL is here. 🚨 He’s looking for crime, mystery, suspense, and thrillers that pull him under and refuse to let go. High stakes. Big consequences. Characters with pasts that won’t stay buried.

A peek at her #MSWL !

I'm specializing in mystery, suspense, thrillers, crime fiction, and upmarket fiction with a sharp edge. He is drawn to high-stakes narratives, complex characters, and stories that refuse to be put down. More on my website:

Would love to see more cozy mysteries! Whether it’s a traditional one a la Amanda Flower or something a bit more in the vein of DIAL A FOR AUNTIES.
I love bookish or cooking premises, something that is lightly paranormal (think witches or a friendly ghost.) and an animal companion!
