Vibrant and bold young adult novels with exceptional pacing and a distinct voice. My priorities in this space are horror (bonus points if rooted in folk lore) and mystery/thriller stories with a BIPOC main character.

MIDDLE GRADE #MG
Voice-driven middle grade with a captivating setting and quirky, lovable characters. In this space, I am open to horror, fantasy, magical realism, mystery, sci fi, historical, paranormal, adventure, contemporary, and nonfiction.

CHAPTER BOOKS #CB
Character-driven stories with a strong, commercial hook and series potential. I am looking for fantasy, magical realism, mystery, contemporary, nonfiction, light horror, paranormal, and adventure tales here.

GENERAL
I gravitate toward high-concept, commercial fiction with bold storytelling, standout pacing, and a distinct voice. I also have a soft spot for speculative stories, mysteries, and anything delightfully weird.

Olive Kitteridge, but each story is told from the pov of a member of an unsolved mystery or a crime family like the Godfather! #MSWL

I'd love to see more suspense and mysteries written in first person POV! I'd love to find a story with a great voice!

Maybe because these times are so horrifying but for YA, I’m really craving an atmospheric, layered horror mystery with the beautiful and lush but creepy vibes of Midsommar or The Honeys, even better if it’s romantic & queer #mswl

Give me The Pitt but make it a thriller/mystery/crime novel! Not so into the medical, but really into the quick, but deep character development! I'm still thinking about these characters!
