Also, I really was not a fan of being first gen as a kid. I kind of push backed on German culture because I wanted to fit in with my peers. MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING but MG and #ownvoices for your culture. Because sometimes it is hard being caught between two worlds. #MSWL

And also a friendship break book that also happens to be set in the 90s, and their friendship might be ending because the Spice Girls broke up. But you know... #MSWL #MG

As any good fantasy nerd, I love fantasy. In MG and YA, but I am picky nowadays. So it has to feel different. But give me high concept stories. Give me beautiful writing. Give me morally complex characters. #MSWL

MG: escapism is really the key word here! I love action and adventure whether it’s contemporary like Spy School or fantasy like Wilderlore. I’m drawn to big hearted emotions, wondrous magic, and zany humor
