I’ve reopened QM to middle grade only, all genres except sci-fi.

My PM, MSWL, & website say “no horror,” but I’m now accepting MG horror because it’s the only level of horror I can handle. 😂

I’m planning to reopen to other genres in April. 🌷

I'd really love to see middle grade projects by black authors that center black kids/teens that spin (ie make new & unique) old school & current favs like Babysitters Club, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Harry Potter, Matilda, Peter Pan, a modern Narnia, Treasure Island + more #MSWL

YA/NA #MSWL: I am looking for a horror from a BIPOC writer that can be comp’d to The Hacienda/Mexican Gothic/She Is a Haunting/Bad Witch Burning. And YA contemporary fantasies from BIPOC writers who are also interested in writing MG.

MG #MSWL: I am looking for a grounded science fiction story set five minutes in the future that’s Super 8 meets The Arrival/Tales From The Loop/DEVS (but from an MG perspective), and which also includes a strong parental presence.
