Graphic Novels:
- MG, please! Anything and everything!
- YA: being selective here because there are so many. Really hoping for something like This One Summer which I just ADORED, The Girl From the Sea, or Heartstopper. (5/6) #mswl

MG:
- Adventure stories with strong friendship groups, think City Spies or The Last Day of Summer.
- Fantasy in the vein of Tristan Strong, or Aru Shah.

A specific thing! MG, YA, or adult fiction by & about Cajuns. Would love to hear from the Acadian writers out there!

MG across the board: Heartwarming & funny contemporary, mysteries, humor, horror, adventure, or some blend of all those. Touches of magic.

MG horror, too: Spooky stories, stories that are a little bit creepier than you feel like they should be for middle graders. (More HIDE AND SEEKER than DOLL BONES, if that makes sense? It makes sense to me.)

-- TURNING RED -- Give me all the coming of age middle grade novels and graphic novels! The more embarrassing, funny, relatable, the better.

-- OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH -- I'd love a queer take on pirates in the adult upmarket/book club space, in the vein of OUTLAWED but out at sea. I'd also be interested in this for YA or MG graphic novel!

-- RANKING OF KINGS -- I'd love to see a middle grade novel (graphic or prose) that explores a kid born into royalty/monarchy that doesn't fit the bill for what a ruler should be or some other setting!

Also still desperate for that middle-grade graphic novel about a Jewish summer camp! Just FYI! #mswl
