My picture book list is quite full, so I am TEMPORARILY closing to PBs. I remain open to illustrators.

I'm very eager to find: ADULT mystery, crime, domestic suspense and horror/speculative fiction.

Starting today, I am going to open my query inbox just to illustrators.

In the next several weeks, I will open widely, but I want to consider the fulls and maybes I have first and then create a new #MSWL. Until then, I am currently looking for #kidlitart #illustrators.

I recently reread ALMA AND HOW SHE GOT HER NAME and it’s truly one of my all time favorites. I’d love to see more projects in my inbox exploring the things—names, food, places—that connect us with the generations before us. PB (author-illustrator only), MG/YA novel, GN. #mswl

I’m loving all the nonfiction queries I’m getting! I’d also love to see more illustrators/graphic novelists who are interested in creating/working on NF projects for kids. #mswl

5: Author-illustrator graphic novels (in all age groups) and picture books. I could make a list a mile long of favourites, but think TEA DRAGONS, THIS ONE SUMMER, BE PREPARED, and anything by the Fan Brothers or Jessie Sima.

Right now I have a very robust list of text-only picture book clients, so I'm focusing on finding author/illustrators in the picture book space for now. I would love to find YOUR version of something like THEY ALL SAW A CAT. #mswl
