Ok, so I was a huge vampire person when I was younger. I'm kind of over vampires, but I know they are coming back, so #mswl if you have super evil vampires I'll take a look! Scary horror vampires! Or how about two evil vampires who try to kill each other and then fall in love?

For #MSWL day, here's my current list: I am always looking for high-concept commercial fiction for MG, YA, adult. Favorite genres are horror, mystery, suspense, thriller, and contemporary.

I want more Gothic books! All types! Southern, Horror, Modern, Romance, etc. #MSWL

It may seem like I only like really dark stuff, but my favorite kind of horror is ultimately hopeful. I want to see people face their fears and win. Make impossible choices and survive. Rescue each other and rescue themselves. #MSWL

I’d love to see more/better mental illness rep in horror. As an anxious person, I’d particularly kill to see protagonists dealing with panic attacks and anxiety while having to fight for their lives.

Hiding from a monster? Better hope you don’t start hyperventilating 🙃 #MSWL

I'd sell my soul for a post-apocalyptic thriller/horror novel where the protagonist (or a POV character) breaks their glasses and has to survive without them #MSWL

Give me more horror novels that tackle modern-day anxieties in fresh, unique ways. Basically, write me a book @JordanPeele would be super into and secretly mad at you for beating him to it #MSWL

I desperately want more LGBTQ+ characters and themes in horror. Give me LGBTQ+ protagonists grappling with gender and sexuality while also dealing with monsters/ghosts/murderers/etc. #MSWL

- I’m very actively seeking adult horror for #Nightfire, so that’s my priority
- BUT I’m open to YA horror, and adult and YA fantasy, scifi, and thrillers as well

I also love mysteries and thrillers that gravitate towards dark horror elements, like THE WHISPER MAN. One of my top reads so far this year. #MSWL
