Women’s fiction: Tell me women’s stories from a new perspective. Loving friendships, complications, difficult dramas.

I could really use a The Bold Type story of friendship and romance written by and for the millennial generation of BOSS LADIES! Women who work hard, play hard, and love hard, supporting each other along the way, too. And a partner who isn’t afraid of boss &*+@#€$! ❤️ #MSWL

In adult romance, I’m really looking for phenomenal writing, but there’s definitely a few tropes I adore. One of which is the best friends to lovers trope right now! #MSWL Give me Friends with Benefits redone!

We got any fashionistas out there? @TaherehMafi’s A Very Large Expanse of Sea has my #MSWL pining for a #YA novel where fashion—and the liberation of clothing autonomy—unites unlikely friends.

I'm so excited!!!! I want a book that makes me feel like this trailer does #MSWL twitter.com/Stranger_Thing…

I want to be more specific about this #MSWL. I want something that gives me the nostalgia and friendship of The Sandlot (like this does) while also bringing in the awesome sci-fi adventure we see in Stranger Things. Don't comp if it's just sci-fi without the other elements.

Just finished EXIT, PURSUED BY A BEAR and really loved it. #MSWL for a friendship like Polly and Hermione’s.

Cate Hart @CateHart · 9 Mar 2019

I just finished watching The Favourite and I have so many #MSWL wants. I want powerful women in historicals, as opposed to empowered, with power plays and antics, friendships and romance, deep nuanced character relationships and falling outs.

To shake things up, I'd love to see more submissions for friends-to-lovers romance novels - especially full-length (90,000 word) contemporaries. Could be standalone or first in proposed series.

#MSWL I really want fun queer romances. All across the LGBTQ+ spectrum, with smart, fully developed characters, sharp dialogue/witty banter, family/friend/career drama, and beautiful, totally explored settings.

"A modern-day Sweet Valley Twins series, ideally featuring best friends instead of siblings." @msmariavicente #MSWL mariavicente.com/representation/

Where are all the girls and/or queer kiddos who are really into sports in kid lit? The narratives about relationships with your body and your friends and your crushes, through the lens of your athleticism and relationship to sports? #MG and #YA! #mswl

I’d love to read something with a hate-to-love relationship! It could be a romantic relationship or a close friendship. #mswl
