I love Literary Speculative/Dystopian that makes me worry about the future.

I love romantasy, but I’d also be curious to see romance-forward stories in other SFFH genres. Dystopian? Speculative/SF? And maybe most challenging of all….Horror? #mswl

Since @shaherazadshelf is opening to unsolicited submissions next week, Heather and I are really looking forward to fantasy, dystopian, and romance in nearly all genres.

Honestly the more I think about it, the more I'd like a genre within genre. Like a rom-com set in a dystopian future (🤯). Or a murder mystery. That would be more interesting to me than "teen takes down oppressive futuristic system."

Sparingly open to higher fantasy if very detailed, atmospheric, accessible (A FORGERY OF ROSES by Jessica S. Olson).

Literally can't help myself, I love dystopian so much. Thinking about all the reservoirs drying up & climate change, I'm interested to see dystopias about parched worlds, little water. I've seen and passed on some before. Any of those that have been revised may query again. #MSWL
