I’d like to see more body diversity in submissions across all genres and for all age groups. #MSWL

Always, always, always looking for diverse historical romance. For example, I think a romance set at Idlewild in the 1930s would be FANTASTIC. #MSWL

Stories with diverse families and/or found families (half and step-siblings, adoption/fostering, single parenting, LGTBQ+, disabled, homeless, etc.) #MSWL

What would I like to see? Lots of great MG for starters. Particularly heartfelt, hooky stories by #ownvoices writers & diverse settings. Even better with illustrative component. And high-concept fantasy that feels unique & fresh & characterful. #mswl

I also rep picture books like these, so #MSWL for immigrant stories, Jewish stories, diversity in all its wonderful forms.

As always, I'm looking for stories by marginalized voices. I'd really want to see more body diversity in #MG and #YA. #MSWL

I'd love to see more body diversity in my subs. When you don't describe a character, the reader (and the cover designer, etc.) is often going to default to the most privileged body types, the ones we typically see celebrated in media. We don't really need more of that. #MSWL

#PitMad legions: if I <3 you today, please send query w/tweet and the first 50 pages to spelletier at dystel dot com. Good luck out there! pic.twitter.com/uY8iKlujcj

and because I'm not sure how much time I'll have today to browse the feed, right now I'm especially hungry for: upmarket WF, book club fiction, and truly fresh suspense fiction.
Diverse voices extra welcome.
Not for me: SF/F, paranormal, kids/YA
