sappho panic 💖💜💙 @leneeh4
unpopular opinion but slow burn friendships are just as valid as slow burn romance. like, gimme the reluctant characters who are like "i don't need anyone" but ends up with a best friend they never asked for but would die for in a heartbeat. that becomes the grumpy aunt/uncle

I kinda want an anthology that’s all short stories of people affected by the chosen one saving the world a la the cabbage man in Last AirbenderLike each story is a different person who is an “extra” in the overall fantasy trope
#mswl this as an interconnected novel in the vein of Auggie chapters in Wonder + the side-character novellas

This all-black WW II women's battalion, the 6888th, were deployed by Roosevelt to make sure American soldiers received the huge backlog of mail being sent to them. When they were denied firearms, they trained in jujitsu, to keep intruders out of their compound.
