this is the stuff of #MSWL for sure

Mystery #mswl: Golden Age inspired cozy-leaning (with modern sensibilities)... yes please! Make me think of Christie or Marsh or (newer!) Osman and I'll be over the moon.

Queries reopen 12/1!

I am open to queries!

Happy Halloween and here's an article I wrote for The History Channel on "A Brief History of Trick-or-Treating” #Halloween #HappyHalloween #TrickorTreat #Halloween2022 #mswl #mswishlist #literaryagents lincolnslunch.blogspot.com

Also, if any teachers follow me, I’d like to find some non-fiction education/pedagogy/teaching guide books.

Surprise! I’m opening to queries November 1st-18th! While I love picture books, I have a lot of them on sub so I’m hoping to find:

-YA fantasy, paranormal, or horror (no gore!)
-Adult fantasy or thrillers
-MG mystery

"I want unique, genre-blending romance novels. I wish I had worked on THE PLUS ONE by Sarah Archer or any of Roselle Lim’s breathtaking romantic contemporary fantasy novels. Give me an adult rom com in space, or with magic."

I literally love sports romance even though I know nothing about sports. can someone please send me a sports romance about olympians?! two gymnasts?! A skiier and a hockey player?! 😳 #mswl

Agent Update: I am officially back open to queries! #MSWL is updated here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/susa… I look forward to reading some AMAZING queries! 💕📚✏️😀

Clarifying once more:

It's not the enemies to lovers part of this that got me.

It's the reluctant allies to friends to heartbreaking betrayal
But ofc in my #MSWL version we go from betrayed and broken hearted to acceptance, lovers and sexy corruption arcs

Yes!!! This!!! #MSWL

"I'm actively seeking fun / funny gift books, especially with a lifestyle twist to them. I'm open to a really wide range of topics on this one, so be creative!"

If she had a meet cute with a girl there for the very same reason I would be totally into this just saying #MSWL

Would love to find a MG "monsters in a cornfield" sort of book with an authentic super small town setting written by a writer who's actually lived in a small town. #mswl

"I want adult fiction or YA graphic novels comping DEAD BY DAYLIGHT or HOCUS POCUS that are character-driven and emotional."

On the horrors, an ensemble cast is a plus but not necessary. And I’m definitely interested in haunted house stories… or basically some good atmospheric horror where the setting might play a part of the horror. #mswl

Really looking for some great #PsychologicalThriller or #horror stories right now! Either adult or ya! Also, I’m on the lookout for some great romcoms! So in other words, I want you to spook me, but then I’ll laugh about it. 😉 #mswl

Happy Halloween weekend! Before you hit that sugar high remember that I am reopening my query manager at QueryManager.com/2099. I am also prepping new pitches for 2023. I am a pop culture junkie nerd but appreciate grounded stories giving new voices a chance.

#MSWL is coming.
