#MSWL - #MG: I will always want more creepy AF middle grade. Always and forever. Give me lyrical voices and atmosphere for *days* and I will love you. Ghost stories with a twist. Creepy carnivals. Alternate worlds a la Coraline. GIMME GIMME PLZ.

#MSWL Explorations of families, especially those with interesting and varied cultures/traditions. I loved the balance in To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

#MSWL - #PB: Looking for irresistible voice and books that either make me laugh out loud (no potty humor though!) or tug at the heart strings. Always want to see diverse perspectives, too!

These are just a few of the things I am looking for! When it comes down to it, I’m looking for an amazing voice with a unique story—sometimes it’s the project I least expect! #MSWL

In #Adult I’d love to see more women’s fiction from underrepresented voices, projects with hints of magic (think The Night Circus), romcoms, historical fiction, and books with strong hooks that would be the perfect read for your next book club #MSWL

In #MG #MSWL I’d love to see: upbeat contemporary, magical realism, fun-filled fantasy adventures, charming mysteries with strong hooks, as well as stories that deal with shifting friend groups, activism, and projects that feature pets (especially dogs!) (3/)

as well as stories that deal w/ navigating sibling relationships (ala I’ll Give You the Sun) light fantasy with new magic systems, stories set in isolated places filled with secrets, unreliable narrators, and as always I would love to see more #ownvoices #YA #MSWL (2/)
