YA romcoms are my jam. Always have been. I want to see more STEM, fun jobs, and unique hobbies. DON’T DATE ROSA SANTOS, WHEN DIMPLE MET RISHI, ROYALS, and ALEX, APPROXIMATELY are perfect examples of voice, humor, and substance in contemp YA romcoms! #mswl

Stories told in epistolary or otherwise unique formats: through emails, testimonies, scripts, texts, podcast transcripts, etc. SADIE is a great example that I loved. My client's forthcoming LAST TRUE POETS OF THE SEA also does this. #mswl

I’d also LOVE a cool, cinematic spec novel or contained sci-fi. Something catchy, like “TITANIC but in a newly opened underwater resort” or FAST & FURIOUS meets I don’t know what... Basically, I love when the concept has a *wow* factor. #mswl
