I love all kinds of science fiction but prefer any subgenre to be character driven. Dystopian. Space Opera. Cozy like Becky Chambers. Stories with feminist themes. Murder mysteries in space. Quirky. Darker. Pretty much everything. #MSWL

For mystery I like cozy or quirky, think Knives Out. But also dark and with thriller elements. I prefer amateur sleuths and locked door, meaning a smaller closed off set of suspects. Smart stories where the mystery and characters are both fully developed. #MSWL

Re: nonfiction: Speculative nonfiction is a genre I'm newly interested in, and I can't get enough of it.
I like memoir, but I'm specifically looking for "well researched grad thesis pretending to be a memoir" (Better by Arianna Rebolini is my go-to example).
