Google UK @GoogleUKSake Dean Mahomed - known as ‘The Shampooing Surgeon of Brighton' - was a versatile entrepreneur who brought many Indian contributions to England. He was the first Indian author to publish a book in English on this day in 1794 🇮🇳🇬🇧→ goo.gl/XvV7SY #GoogleDoodle pic.twitter.com/QeoRqOKqB5
Where are all the cozy mystery authors hiding? Can you give me a clue? 😉 I'm in need of a unique cozy with a great voice. Have a MS like that? Woohoo! Paste your query and first five pages in the body of an email and send to: querylynnette (at) theseymouragency (dot) com. #MSWL
Chelsey Emmelhainz @CKEmmelhainzMy current #MSWL:
- toxic female friendships
- spooky suspense (maybe w/ supernatural/horror bent)
- suspense featuring cults and witches (a la, THE CRAFT)
- family dysfunction + messed up secrets
- female serial killers
It appears my #MSWL list is evergreen, because I'm definitely still hunting for all these elements in my mystery/suspense/women's fiction submissions...
I’m seeking: MG & YA fiction in all genres - YA w/ mystery or romance subplots. Adult contemporary, romance, psych thrillers, horror & suspense. I love: books featuring drama, social issues, animals, Canadian settings, ownvoices. Pls submit via Query Tracker. #amquerying #mswl
stacey agdern 🏒 @nystacey@Donovanesque @HallmarkPublish Just because i'm thinking of these things, do you want a series outline if one exists? Or is it not something you're looking for :)
We like series ideas! At the end of the synopsis, add a paragraph about how you'd see the series play out, or give us a title and a few sentences apiece for books 2 and 3. #MSWL #romance #mystery #hallmark @HallmarkPublish
If I missed your #IWSGPit pitch, paste query & 1st 5 pages in email. Adult: SFF, thriller, cont. romance, & mystery. YA: thriller, SFF, horror, mystery, & contemporary. MG: SFF, mystery, contemporary, & horror. #diversity #MSWL #ownvoices querylynnette (@) theseymouragency (.)com
Connie Bergendahl @ConnieBergenda1Hi Stacey...for February submissions, should synopsis and manuscript be two "separate" documents in the email?@Donovanesque
For those #amquerying I remain open to queries. Genres high on my #mswl for 2019 in adult and YA include horror, historical fantasy, chilling mysteries, and tense stories about survival. In nonfiction would love some weird or fun history.
A couple corrections to my previous thread. For Adult fiction: I do very little adult fiction, but I do love reading it. Offbeat/literary but not experimental, commercial and book club, adventure/mystery. No fantasy, sci-fi, category romance. #MSWL
YA: Much the same as MG--humor, realistic teen stories, #ownvoices, adventure, sci-fi. Also, love a good teen romance, horror, mystery, but not super-dark.
Children's NF at all levels: curriculum tie-ins, PB bios, multicultural history, science, sports, pop culture.
#MSWL. Always looking for great adult fiction, e.g. Southern Gothic, medical romance, romantic comedies, Up Lit, domestic thrillers, historical fiction, women’s fiction, mysteries and cozy mysteries. You can email me at email@example.com.
