Sister, Sister was one of my favorite childhood shows, and I'd love to see an inspy romance submission in the same vein! Twins separated by adoption at birth bringing together their now-single adoptive parents. Younger twins would be better for Love Inspired, though. #MSWL

There are so many reasons relationships don’t work out. Adding nuance to the ex/backstory can add depth and real emotional stakes to the potential conflicts your MCs face. #mswl

Many romance ms submissions pay too much attention to the exes in unnecessary & clichéd ways, giving them a generic feel.
I want to see more heroines who broke up with their exes for reasons other than cheating. And fewer heroines who are brokenhearted after being dumped. #MSWL

#MSWL Would love to see some romances featuring witches and shifters. Could be a rom com, historical or contemporary/small town romance.

What I want to see instead in romance submissions are characters who are intent on achieving some sort of goal, who are leading interesting lives that get knocked sideways by the love interest. #MSWL
