I’d love to find my first author/illustrator, preferably for picture books. For more info on PBs—with an updated section on art—check out my MSWL link. Some recent PBs I enjoyed are “A Little Like Magic,” “Big,” “Aloha Everything,” and “Where Three Oceans Meet.” #mswl

As a new literary agent building my list, I’m looking for :
Christian living, self help, psychology, Christian devotionals & Bible studies, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, women’s fiction, YA, picture and board books.
(Just popping in here, I’m very active on Threads) #mswl

#MSWL Make me laugh, make me cry, draw me in and make me forgot about all the horrible things that are happening in the world. #YA #MG #PB @manuscriptwishlist .bsky.social Full MSWL here:

-spooky adjacent picture book
-weird and quirky

I'm currently closed to queries and won't be fully participating in #mswl Day, but when I reopen I'll be on the lookout for:
- YA romcoms with depth and shenanigans
- heist novels
- literary horror
- author/illustrators working on picture books and graphic novels

Happy #MSWL Day! 🎉 I acquire for freespiritbooks.bsky.social and am seeking #picturebooks with authentic representation for children from underrepresented religions. View my full wish list & learn how to submit here: www.manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/de.... #kidlit #SEL #identity #pb #writers

I'm actively searching for more author-illustrators of picture books and illustrated chapter books! #MSWL

A few more #MSWL a bit early: I would love to find some chapter books and early readers (even better if you're also an illustrator).

I love board books as well, but those I want to see from author-illustrators.

For picture books, I'm willing to see text only, but I do prefer author-illustrators.

Oh, and I should note I’ll be re-opening to queries on March 1, so please do keep me in mind as you prepare your query lists for pb, mg, ya, and everything in between (as long as it’s for children). Once I reopen, my query guidelines will be live at QueryTracker.net/query/michel... #MSWL

#MSWL I only represent children’s books, but I work with everything from board books through YA, both fiction and nonfiction. In board and picture books I prefer seeing submissions from author-illustrators.

My dream project is a picture book that connects with some of my New Age sensibilities. Astrology, Chakras, crystals...past lives! Surprise me with something like that, really well done, and I'd be very interested. #MSWL

#MSWL for picture books: picture day books!

I want a book with nature. #MSWl #PB

I’ll be opening to queries Feb 1-7 so thought I’d update my #mswl for a few things I’m particularly on the lookout for.

#PB : laugh out loud stories with a clear narrative arc, clever wordplay, twist endings, memorable characters. I’ll be open to both text only and author-illustrators this month.

I desperately want to find the equivalent of the picture book author in the Korean drama It's Okay Not to Be Okay. (If you've seen the show, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.) Maybe just a little less stabby. #MSWL

Please, I beg of you, once I reopen to queries in like a month, send me every children's manuscript (PB through YA) that someone told you was too strange to let out into the daylight. I must discover the next Roald Dahl or Edward Gorey. #MSWL

- i really want some funny picture books with off-beat characters in the center! Think Olivia, Elephant and Piggy, Gaston, Pete The Cat, etc! Also, I’m big on slightly more adventurous art styles!

Hello! My name is Paloma Hernando, a literary agent who specializes in #graphicnovels #picturebooks and #genrefiction !

Here is my updated #MSWL for winter 2025. I will be opening back up to unsolicited queries at the end of the month. If I’ve requested materials from you please send me a DM for my query link.

I want a quirky, humorous picture book. That definitely uses kid logic. #MSWL
