In YA there exist friendship breakup books. This is a hard fact of the teen years. It doesn’t end in adulthood. I’d like to see these books in women’s fiction. #MSWL

I'm so excited!!!! I want a book that makes me feel like this trailer does #MSWL twitter.com/Stranger_Thing…

I want to be more specific about this #MSWL. I want something that gives me the nostalgia and friendship of The Sandlot (like this does) while also bringing in the awesome sci-fi adventure we see in Stranger Things. Don't comp if it's just sci-fi without the other elements.

"Winter will pass, the days will lengthen, the ice will melt in the pasture pond," wrote E.B. White. Feeling renewed and reinvigorated to take on all those spring submissions coming out of hibernation… #MSWL #WishlistWednesday #SpringTime

I’d love a MG like Furthermore by Tahera Mafi, or anything by @kellybarnhill, or Damsel by @ElanaKArnold. You feeling that vibe? #MSWL

I have a lot of anxiety around illness, so I’m the WRONG agent for stories about getting sick or battling diseases (“sick lit”). It’s painful enough supporting the real folks I know who are ill; I don’t seek it in my fiction. #MSWL

I am still closed to unsolicited queries. I will be open to middle grade & young adult manuscript submissions only from April 1st through June 30th, 2019. Please check #MSWL to see what I'm looking for.

Replying to @toby_rachel

To pitch me a chapter book, you only need the first one fully written + a proposal for 2 or 3 follow ups. You'd also have to have other things in the hopper, other than picture books. I don't rep projects; I rep careers & I'm currently not taking on more pb authors. #MSWL

Linda Epstein @LindaEpstein · Mar 19

I have been asking for/yearning for a middle grade or YA story set in the Shanghai Jewish Ghetto during World War 2 for NINE YEARS. I REALLY want this. If you have written that story, please send it to me! #MSWL

Vicki Lame @thedaysbetween · Mar 19

#MSWL the next Melina Marchetta; smart, funny fiction featuring diverse main characters & casts (YA or adult); YA graphic novels (sweet romances or coming of age stories) & YA graphic memoir; adult fantasy; epistolary novels (YA or adult).

I do not like or represent horror or thrillers or murder mysteries or most scary things. I also do not read holocaust stories. I think they're necessary, but I'm the wrong agent for them. #MSWL

Linda Epstein @LindaEpstein · Mar 19

When I open in April, I will be open ONLY to middle grade and young adult manuscripts. Please note that means I am NOT open to picture book submissions. They will be deleted unread. Sorry. #MSWL
