I will also take villains who are the MCs, heroes who are made heroes because they’d be too powerful if they were baddies, some murder mystery, himbos & bimbos being best friends, the vibes of Miles Morales leaping off the building, also the vibes of Nick Miller doing anything

Loved reading THE 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS - debut by Jenny Bayliss. A fun, cozy and smart rom-com of a book. I've been looking for manuscripts like this in my querymanager inbox for ages. Smart, funny and fresh stories that can become the next great chickflick. #mswl @JDLitAgency

My YA romantasy caveat is that the romance must be between humans. I am not the right fit for fae or elves or orcs or mermaids or aliens or robots.

(However, things that were once human are OK: vampires, werewolves, ghosts). #mswl

That is not the case for YA, though! I really, really want romantic fantasy (or "romantasy").

Give me pining and angst and love triangles. The rush of first love. All that good stuff.
