Happy New Year! For 2019, I thought I'd throw out some #MSWL ideas for writers. Broadly, I'm looking for all kinds of picture books by author/illustrators, MG, YA, Childrens' NF, Adult Narrative NF, and adult Lit Fiction. Details thread follows:Another #MSWL for 2019! (Be sure you're following all our agents so you can keep up to date on their clients and interests.)
YA: Much the same as MG--humor, realistic teen stories, #ownvoices, adventure, sci-fi. Also, love a good teen romance, horror, mystery, but not super-dark.
Children's NF at all levels: curriculum tie-ins, PB bios, multicultural history, science, sports, pop culture.

#MSWL. Just finished MAID and would love to find some narrative nonfiction that celebrates underrepresented voices, especially women, triumphing over tremendous odds be they physical, financial and/or mental.

My 2019 goal is more nonfiction. Bring me your food histories, social histories, material culture proposals, true crime projects, gimme all of 'em. Basically, if it's nonfiction, I wanna see it. #mswl

Microchimerism: where your mother's or children's cells live on in you & can help or hinder your health. Eg your child's fetal cells can repair your heart, prevent breast cancer & Alzheimer's; your mom's cells can prevent preeclampsia. #science #sciencefact twitter.com/newscientist/s…This is *wild* to think about... (#mswl nonfiction for middle grade or YA readers)
