Also on my #MSWL - middle grade where illustrations play a big role, such as THE DOLDRUMS by Nicholas Gannon & THE INVENTION OF HUGO CABRET by Brian Selznick, and funny stuff like THE TAPPER TWINS GO TO WAR or DORK DIARIES.

#MSWL - to stay on the MG series plot, other examples of books I've have loved to work on: ARU SHAH AND THE END OF TIME, THE SERPENT'S KISS, NEVERMOOR.

#MSWL - I'd also love a puzzle-y middle grade series a la ESCAPE FROM MR. LEMONCELLO'S LIBRARY, MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY, or THE BLACKTHORN KEY (one of my favs for its perfect balance of humor and tension).

#MSWL - In MG, I will say I'd love, love to find a big middle grade series, something with heart & adventure. I'd love a sweeping MG fantasy-adventure, a new take on magical schools, or something high concept, high stakes, and FUN.
