Have a pile of submissions to get to but a #mswl that's been on my heart ever since my trans/NB partner told me they've never seen themself reflected in lit: more books (PB, MG, YA, GN) featuring genderqueer main characters pls. There's power in lit, and the fascists know it.

You know that scene in Rings of Power where ****** is in *********'s head and it's the evil one being all join me and be my light etc?

Gimme that same energy but genderbent and/or queer.

What I do love to see in the YA Contemporary field are thrillers, hauntings that can toe the line of horror without going overboard, rom-coms, friendship break ups, and grandparent relationships. I especially love to see all this with BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ characters. #mswl
