24/7/365 I welcome #ownvoices. I welcome all and would especially love stories by&about people of color, with disabilities (esp invisible), who have mental illness, who are LGBTQ, or who are economically disadvantaged #MSWL #wndb

Hannah Fergesen @HannahFergesen · 12 Sep 2018

Been asking for a fun YA f/f rom com for a long time now and I still want it. Sweet, salty, unique. I want my cinnamon rolls in love! #MSWL

Kaitlyn Johnson @kaitylynne13 · 12 Sep 2018

I wanna touch on contemporary romance real quick. I love cute awkwardness. I want gut-wrenching love (think Just One Day by @gayleforman). I need LGBTQ+ that isn't just "coming out" or "issue-driven". If you give me Andy Anderson, I'll love you forever #MSWL

Maria Vicente @msmariavicente · 12 Sep 2018

Random topics & things I’m into (idk it might help???): animal rights / boy bands / comics / crows / design / the environment / friendship / ghosts / LGBTQ+ characters / mental health / pop music / teen dramas / Zelda / the 90s. #MSWL

Kaitlyn Johnson @kaitylynne13 · 12 Sep 2018

Give me badass females and POC in your historical! Big plus if it's LGBTQ+ #MSWL just don't give me Shakespeare, Henry VIII, or Greek gods - a little worn out on WWII, as well, unless it has a totally new POV

Michelle Richter📚 @Michrichter1 · 12 Sep 2018

I would love to see more crime fiction from writers of color and LGBT writers in the world and in my inbox. If the main characters are also POC/LGBT, even better. #MSWL

Jessica Mileo @JessicaMileo · 12 Sep 2018

#MSWL When I open up my queries again, I want the fluffiest most uwu romance / contemporary (adult or children's) fiction with PoC and/or queer protagonists (Not secondary characters fitting the bill and no one is allowed to die!)

Samantha Wekstein @SWekstein · 12 Sep 2018

8. As always, I'm interested in diverse, queer, own voices, and feminist narratives. #mswl

Kaitlyn Johnson @kaitylynne13 · 12 Sep 2018

Hannah Bennett @helizbennett · 12 Sep 2018

#MSWL: Nonfiction books by the LGBTQ+ community, especially humor, history, culture, modern life. (Books that go beyond memoir!)

Sarah E. Younger @seyitsme · 12 Sep 2018

Chiming in to share my #MSWL: Adult Fiction (sry no YA etc.) #OwnVoices #RomComs #LGBT+ #SciFi #Fantasy #WomensFic #Romance

I’d love to have a Diverse RomCom in the #LGBT+ space, add a dog or cat to a WF or RomCom & 😍

Carly Watters @carlywatters · 12 Sep 2018

Upmarket, structurally interesting, sweeping love stories of all kinds. I’d love a LGBTQ story in the vein of ONE DAY/THE VERSIONS OF US. Something like a more commercial PAYING GUESTS (which I loved, but I'm not interested in ton of capital L literary fiction right now). #mswl

Cortney Radocaj @CortneyRadocaj · 12 Sep 2018

And on that same note—any an all LGBTQIA+ rep. ALL OF IT.

I WANT REALLY QUEER BOOKS Y’ALL.

#mswl

Cortney Radocaj @CortneyRadocaj · 12 Sep 2018

GIRLS. KISSING. GIRLS.

ALL OF THEM.

JUST

ALL THE QUEER LADIES

Kelly 📚 @LitAgentKelly · 12 Sep 2018

#MSWL MG Diverse and LGBTQIA+ voices. Middle grade is really some of the toughest years of my life, and anything that can help them realize it's okay to be different, is helpful. Love ghost stories and stories of crushes and friendship at this age.

Tracy WANTS A NAP Marchini @TracyMarchini · 12 Sep 2018

And I'm always looking for: own voices stories in pb, mg, and ya – would love to see more neurodiverse, LGBT+ and/or stories from people (particularly women) of color. Intersectional stories always welcome! #mswl

Melissa Edwards @MelissaLaurenE · 12 Sep 2018

I’m in the market for some LGBTQ MG with an honest and true voice. #mswl
