I want whip-smart absurdist OR speculative literary fiction that acts as satirical or hyperbolic commentary on the oddly accepted parts of culture and society.
Eg: Kevin Wilson's NOTHING TO SEE HERE or Jessamine Chan's SCHOOL FOR GOOD MOTHERS

- near future speculative, where Earth is *almost* the same, but changes reflect and comment on our current social, political, and environmental trajectory.
- novels in verse that explore the beauty and darkness kids face daily

- Deep dives into nerdy topics like TTRPG’s, cosplay, fandoms, etc.
- A strong narrative voice paired with expertise, with comps like Radium Girls, The Victorian and the Romantic, Why Fish Don’t Exist

Very much in my romance era. Contemporary romance w/ or w/o spec, rom coms, women’s fiction with romance, cozy fantasy romance, epic fantasy romance, YA and MG romance, horror with romance elements. I want it all so send it to meeeee pls. I wanna squeal and kick my feet #MSWL
