MG, YA, & Adult all welcome.

For MG: likely adventure/fantasy based w/magic and/or non-Western mythology.

For the rest: fantasy set in a non-Western world w/sharp stakes & a romance.

Could be 1st or 2nd world fantasy.

I am just an agent, shouting to the writing void, that I really want a YA fantasy. #MSWL

YA: I love diabolical characters doing diabolical things, for both right and wrong reasons. Villainous found families, tragedies, queer voices, and dark fantasy are top of my list at the moment. If anyone has written a contemporary fantasy marching band book, PLEASE SEND IT TO ME

Adult: SFF & horror! I especially love dark SFF, whether that be epic fantasy or space opera, & I'm interested in horror that intersects with other genres. I'd love to find a horror romance, or a sci-fi horror. Would love a sapphic romantasy & any creepy, queer genre works.

• Adult Romance: swoonworthy, happy, believable romance. Bonus points if it's second chance and dual timeline/pov (Carley Fortune x Emily Henry)
• Adult Fantasy: either with a heavy romance or it’s a subplot, adventurous and immersive fresh takes on a fantasy world

But I will reopen to select YA genres as well. So it will be Adult SFF, Horror, and Mystery (not true crime). YA horror, thriller, and romance. No YA fantasy or science fiction or contemporary.

📚 YA: I'm focusing more on genre fiction — namely fantasy and horror with an emphasis on works by authors from marginalized communities. I still have a soft spot for reimaginings (like...Count of Monte Cristo. Or if someone were to update Christopher Pike's The Midnight Club...)

My top MG genres right now are contemporary, horror, historical fiction, and fantasy. Across all genres, I'm eager to see submissions by authors from underrepresented communities. #mswl
