Vibe: This Is Us episode where they do family therapy. Huge family saga, lots of drama, but emotionally intelligent and everyone loves each other. I cry the whole time.

I just finished Lessons in Chemistry and it’s my entire #mswl —feminism, powerful women, quirky, found family, dogs, love, loss, laughter, tears, brilliant writing and the sense I never want to put this book down.

Although I’m also very eager to find happy, funny stories with strong family relationships that, while not perfect, are loving and healthy for the most part.

But I also love light. I'm not taking on many new cozy authors these days unless you've elevated the cozy like The Maid. Another with a strong sense of family and more complicated and layered story then typical cozies #MSWL

I like dark and twisty but not gory. Suspense with a real edge. I tend not to lean to horror, but love dark characters with dark secrets. Like Razorblade Tears or Black Cake. Family secrets coming to light are a big hit for me. #MSWL

My areas of expertise are upmarket and literary fiction, women's fiction, mystery, suspense and thriller. I love books w/ strong family focus (found, friends, those you're born with) and home. Even in mystery I love those connections #MSWL
