During my time off, I finished drawing a piece I've been working on for a few years now. I wanted to experience a bit of the process my graphic novelists go through (inking, coloring, etc). Conclusion: I like drawing, but I much prefer *editing* comics to making them! #MSWL below https://twitter.com/minjipatterson/status/1683962446590144515/photo/1GN #MSWL : If any creators/agents have a project w/a similar vibe as this, I'd love to see it! I'm also on the lookout for coming-of-gender stories; queer romance; contemporary like Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up.., This One Summer, Go with the Flow; absurdly funny MG/early readers

Now, I want to say #MSWL to this! Give me books where modest girlies can learn & save the Earth, too.

This #PrideMonth, it is important to recognize non-binary and gender nonconforming people have been here from the beginning of the U.S. Here is a thread on one of the most influential such persons in early America. An abolitionist minister known as The Public Universal Friend. 1/ pic.twitter.com/2YaoROZugHI would love a picture book or novel involving the Public Universal Friend! #MSWL

PW really said "we don't want poors in our romance kthx" twitter.com/SoniaHartl1/st…Hey so, good opportunity to make it EXPLICITLY CLEAR that romances depicting non-wealthy (or even middle class) experiences are very important to me!!!
This is true in all genres, but romance gets a special call-out bc um, poor folks deserve swoony love stories too? Obv??
