Are the characters complicated and fresh but at the same time, familiar? I'm looking for a thriller that's pulse-pounding, a commercial novel that makes me forget I'm working, and a romance where the chemistry is palpable and builds throughout the book. (2/4)

#PitMad is coming up, and I want to share my #MSWL. Here's what I'm looking for: The next SUCH A FUN AGE, and THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME. Characters must be fully developed, and the plot is the most important thing — does the pacing cause the reader to turn the pages? (1/4)

Going through the queries. I'm a very tough sell for fantasy novels set at tournaments. #mswl

#MSWL ☺️

WRITERS! I'm open to queries through the holidays so if you have a finished YA/MG/PB/NF ms you're excited about and don't want to wait for the new year, send it over! #MSWL here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/shar…

“Really hungry to find some great rom-coms. A few of my clients are working on them, and I’d just love to find some unique, genre-blending romances.” @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

Finished watching Dopesick (season 2 please?) and would love to see more submissions in my inbox on the growing opioid epidemic. It's an important topic and something that I think deserves a lot more coverage in the teen book space #MSWL #YA

This video just hit over 300M views in 8 weeks - and it deserves it. JUST SO YOU KNOW, K-pop books are a staple on my #MSWL and will STILL be there going into 2022... along with any other heavy-hitting Korean culture themes (K-drama, food, etc.) by knowledgeable authors.

“Actively seeking fun / funny gift books, especially with a lifestyle twist to them. Open to a really wide range of topics on this one, so be creative!” @claire_m_harris #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

“Send me your commercial/upmarket romcoms with exes who cohabitate/co-parent--but where it’s not the exes who get together.” @readbystephanie #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

"In terms of non-fiction, I am looking for Psychology, Pop Culture, Science, Business, and Lifestyle from experts in their fields with an original angle. Proven expertise is a must.” @ceciliaclyra #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

“Nonfiction: history of pop culture topic, vegan cookbook, nonfiction for kids and teens, essay collections, illustrated gift books.” @agentvicente #MSWL mariavicente.com/representation

I will re-open to queries some time in EARLY 2022, with a freshly updated #MSWL. I need some time to read before then, and get through my backlog! As always, ASK ME ANYTHING - in this thread, or by DM. And thank you for being here to hold me accountable through this process!

"Non-fiction like Joseph McCormack's BRIEF: MAKE A BIGGER IMPACT BY SAYING LESS." @CurtisPSLA #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

It's the one-year anniversary of my submissions inbox (how time flies? maybe?) so to celebrate I've updated my wishlist - AND have expanded my remit to non-fiction as well 📚🎉

If you've got a project that might fit, please write to me! #amquerying #mswl

#mswl I would really love to see any submissions of literary and book club fiction and beautifully written narrative non-fiction to read as the cold nights draw in and the pooch snores contentedly next to me 📚

“Fiction I loved (from the past year or two): THE MOST FUN WE EVER HAD, THE GREAT BELIEVERS, FLEISHMAN IS IN TROUBLE, LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE, THE LAST ROMANTICS, CHARLOTTE WALSH LIKES TO WIN, COMMONWEALTH, CIRCE, THE GREAT ALONE.” @carlywatters #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Hatchet was one of my favs as a kid. It made me feel small and powerful at the same time, appreciate the wide world, the dangers and the possibilities, and opened my eyes to so much more out there and inside myself.
#MSWL forever
And now there's a memoir...
I can't wait!

I would really love to see more adult projects in my inbox. #MSWL -- especially:
*Underrepresented women in history
*Thriller
*Romance
*LIGHT fantasy (if House on the Cerulean Sea is a comp-yes please)
*LGBTQIA+ stories (especially joyful ones)
