Cass Frances @Cass_Frances_
Like, she KNEW men can lie and say trust me, and then be angry at you when you do what you need to do to make sure the man you're with is not a monster. And she's always cast as the jealous sister, and Psyche as faithless.
And written that way by men.
THIS! I loved Psyche and Cupid as a kid. But yes. Like her sisters are always like "Girl, you haven't seen your husband in the light, HOW do you know??"
And yet, it is framed like they are the bad guys.
Give me a #MSWL that addresses this in a modern way.

Good morning! I added a few more genres to my #MSWL through the StringerLit query form. Would love some humor/satire/offbeat/quirky (we need that in the world!) and I added thrillers, upmarket. Send me your funny PB and more MG/YA. stringerlit.com

The children of the college admissions scandal grapple with the fallout. “I don’t know who you are anymore, mom.” on.wsj.com/2RpMF4RThis is a book I'd like to see. Parents who go too far because they think they're protecting their kids. This is both fiction and nonfiction depending on your take. #mswl

My [24M] Girlfriend [23F] has the weirdest hobbies in existence, and they make me kinda uncomfortable. pic.twitter.com/3IMsUuD0LaEvery time this resurfaces all I can think about is how much it is #mswl. The girl. Not the guy who can’t appreciate her.

@NaomisLitPix As a literary agent when you look at query letters, i.e. YA query letter, are there keywords that really stand out to you that peaks your interest in potential manuscript? Cheers.Hi Ronald! I think for me, it's the overall whole package that catches my interest rather than keywords in the query. But of course if I see my #MSWL comp titles or an #ownvoices story it does catch my eye.
