#MSWL everything about this. All the girl power in everything but especially in sports. And girls banding together instead of seeing each other as the enemy. I know HS And MS girls can be mean, but they can also be loving, supportive, and empowering, and that’s what I wanna see.

I want one woman in a small town who's the local elementary school teacher and a biker butch who's been traveling the country with a broken heart who comes back home to see her childhood crush at the local farmers market #mswl #romance

Lastly, one exception to all this is that I consume domestic thrillers like candy, especially those with wild twists. I loved The Girl Before. Please send me your domestic thrillers.

I like YA on the weirder side & YA with really lyrical voices: I still cannot stop thinking about Midwinterblood, The Accident Season, All the Truth That's in Me, or We Were Liars.

I'd love to see MG you could comp to Mary Downing Hahn & in general, more middle grade horror of all kinds, including darker MG involving mysteries/puzzles/scavenger hunts.

I want to see more super-atmospheric haunted houses & ghosts for MG, YA, & adult.

(A slight exception to this is that I am a fan of gore & body horror like Ilsa Bick's Ashes trilogy & Wilder Girls. But even those are very character- & setting-driven.)
