For YA & Adult, I’m looking for grounded fantasy. I’m not typically the one for fantasy-fantasy. I love a “our world but weird/witchy/magical/supernatural.” NINTH HOUSE is one of my all-time favorites (I have a tattoo for it) & I also loved working with S.Isabelle on her debut YA, THE WITCHERY #MSWL

I'd also love to see more hybrid memoirs with great writing and platform. #MSWL

For nonfiction, hoping to see topics on history, cinema, video games, anime, K‑pop, Latino/Hispanic music, LGBT+ culture, spirituality/witchcraft, methods of divination, meditation, world traditional/contemporary practices, deity worship, neuroscience, human–nature interaction, social media... #MSWL

I'd love to see some fresh cozy mysteries with a hilarious voice. #MSWL

First up on my #MSWL is a postapocalyptic romance where the romance is just as important to the stakes as the end of the world itself. Bonus points for dark / black humor!

Am also looking for dark romance / horror romance more broadly, but nothing w/ stalker vibes or questionable consent for me.

I love any kind locked room mystery, especially if it has fresh premise or location. #MSWL

Historical fiction set outside the US/Western Europe.

Scholarship kids at old-money schools.

Bubblegum thrillers and queer horror.

2010s-style dystopias with marginalized teens at the forefront.

Animated Barbie movie vibes (bonus points for fairies or mermaids).

#mswl in adult fiction, i'd love to see:

Fiction centered around spaces and communities.

Late-bloomers (particularly autists) experiencing their first love.

Hooky romcoms with unique premises and queer and/or BIPOC protagonists.

‘Weird girl’ lit, but from voices less represented in this genre.

#mswl i'm also looking for proposals about the creation of popular TV shows or films. Particularly of interest would be Succession, Heated Rivalry, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, or 30 Rock. I’d love something that delves into the rise of K-dramas and/or K-pop in international markets.

#mswl in nonfiction, i am looking for all things FANDOM. would love something in the vein of EVERYTHING I GET FROM YOU, and anything that dives into online fan culture, fanfic, the history of tumblr, and/or the Golden Age of YouTube Vloggers in the mid-2010s.
