Things I am less likely to take on at the moment because of clients books: underwater books (despite loving them)/ monster books outside of romance/ older dark academia although still would love a library book/ space opera.

Before people start saying agents put up mswl to read the books they want (standard comments every time, especially when I list high heat or monster romance), I already have KU and plenty of books to read. This is for work.

Still looking for my Greig Beck/ James Rollins/ Matthew Reilly style Action & Adventure. Please...I'm begging.

Big romantasy along the lines of SJM or Armentrout. I love Fae but I'm being overwhelmed by them and Prince/ Princess/ Assassin storyline. If you pitch me one please make it stand out.

I'd also love a really high heat romance. Especially if it has some sort of kink. Along the lines of Salacious Players Club.

All the Monster romance. Think Lillian Lark.

#mswl in YA/NA I would LOVE something with the vibe of Crave or Wings of Blood. It can be dragons/ vampires/ fae/ werewolves/ gargoyles...anything. But it's the academia/ competition between species/ love interest vibe that I'm after.

I'm also after paranormal romance in general still.

Your 'weird' or literary-leaning YA books may be for me. I'm interested in younger YA/teen as a category and would especially like to see contemporary, emotional novels (think John Green) and horror for readers aged 13+.

I'm really interested in the cross-genre space generally too (totally here for horromance and dystomance). My taste leans darker generally but I love humour - an author who can fill me with wonder, scare me AND make me laugh is the dream!

For a YA/crossover readership (my initial focus), I'd particularly love to see original, immersive speculative and fantasy novels (especially if inspired by an unusual setting or underrepresented history, mythology or culture), horror, dystopian, romance and thrillers.

Because I know it can be hard for agents to find info on what editors are looking for (YES, I've been there, trawling through Twitter profiles for hints...) I thought I'd go ahead and post my #MSWL here. For clarity, I'm only accepting agented submissions unless via referral. 🧵
