Romantic, steamy adult fantasy romances. Deals of convenience, betrayal, political intrigue, dueling families, rivals to lovers to enemies, immortals w/longstanding wars and deep histories. Ballroom dances that end with a dagger to the throat. Rich world building & magic systems

For the first time, I’m opening up to romance in the adult space, particularly contemporary stories that have a lot of layers, have a great backdrop, and an ensemble cast. I’ll be pretty picky here, but here are a few of my faves from the last year 🤍

#MSWL: My adult #fiction list will be smaller but think upmarket #BookClub fiction or domestic suspense--something that will keep me up at night. Really enjoyed Angie Kim's Miracle Creek. Has to feel #contemporary, braiding together issues of social import & identity.

#MSWL: Check out @stuartpalley's book Into the Inferno for a good example of what I'm looking to rep in this space. Also: medical narratives, anything shedding light on the #healthcare industry and weaving in history. Books like Heart: A History by Sandeep Jauhur, for example.
