I'm reading emails, queries, and tweets in the midst of a Saturday spent judging varsity debate rounds. Oh, would I love a debate novel (#MSWL), YA or adult either. The varsity resolution debates the degree to which standardized tests ought to be used during college admissions.

I had the joy of completing a new interview with @DarlingAxe, + I cover preferred genres (#MSWL -- fiction + non-fiction, for YAs + adults), submissions, the industry, + good books. Check out the full interview here: bit.ly/2kZ1ten.

Beyond this, I have yet to ever go on submission with a good thriller or memoir, and so throwing out a desire these, in an especial way, but throw me any YA and adult fiction and non-fiction you've got, with some exceptions. Open to #queries like heck! #MSWL

I'd love a good novel that explores the affective/emotional life as a key plot development device. I'd also love of a novel that treats of healthy religiosity--for YAs or adults both. So often, religion is negatively grasped and/or understood as damaging. #MSWL

Still hungering for a really wonderful #thriller (any! but if you've got a female-led one, send it without hesitation!), and some really good adult #fantasy and #scifi. In #YA, don't hesitate: contemporary, boy voices, romance. Anything NEW and FRESH and EPIC. #MSWL
