It's #MSWL day and I am open to queries on Monday. Here are some things I am thinking about.

#MSWL More specifically, I'm really hoping to sign an adult SFF book with a disabled protagonist this year, and I'm dying for the next SICK KIDS IN LOVE. I want YA disability romance so, so, so bad!

I'd like to see quirky horror and more serious horror. Think social commentary rather than slasher. Horror with romance--though everyone is looking for that. Feminist horror. Folk lore horror. #MSWL

In YA, I'd love to see comtemporary paranormal romances and mysteries from fresh, underrepresented perspectives à la CEMETERY BOYS, IF I HAVE TO BE HAUNTED, and THESE DEADLY PROPHECIES. Please give me vampires, witches, ghosts, zombies, etc. especially from a unique cultural lens! #MSWL

I'd love to see more cozy fantasy and science fiction with romance. Sweet or medium spicy is good for me. I tend to prefer fantasy-forward rather than romance-forward so sightly more emphasis on the fantasy plot. #MSWL

#MSWL day

1) Gayer, swoonier romance (gay, here, meaning any LGBTQ+ pairing that leans into the queerness of it)

2) Small stories with BIG personal stakes (e.g. TJ Klune esque), preferably with magic but not required if romance

#MSWL I desperately want a spicy dystopian romance post climate apocalypse. Think "The 100" but I want the stories of those left on the ground.

Romance. I love romances and would love to see more (especially queer) romances in my inbox. YES, it has to end in a HEA or HFN--otherwise it's NOT a romance.
Would also love to see things that aren't enemies to lovers. Still open to it just would love to mix it up a little #MSWL
