Haven't yet recovered from reading SHIELD OF SPARROWS and am dying for more monsters, slowburn romance, political intrigue, and all of it. If you have a romantasy that can be comp'd, send it my way 👀 #MSWL #amquerying

If you're querying a YA Dystopian with a strong romance, I'd love to see it. #mswl

UPDATE: I'm currently open to queries for historical romance (yes, that's new!!!), romcom, contemporary romance, dark romance, romantasy, horror, women's fiction, and adult nonfiction. For more deets, go to my #MSWL page:

I would LOVE to see a royal, historical romance. Think Mary, Queen of Scots in Reign--I want THAT. Let's forego the traumatic ending (iykyk), but I'd love to see those elements within a novel. #MSWL

Speaking of tropes, here are some of other favorites (in no particular order...):

- second chance romance
- only one bed :')
- friends to lovers (this is so underrated)
- office romance (I LOVE corporate settings...I'll blame my day job)
- childhood besties to lovers

Romance novels with a fantasy element -- give me witches in every day life, I'd also consider vampires and werewolves (as long as the romance is center stage! This is the most important part)

I will be on vacation from June 13-22, and so that makes sense to me as a trial run for this new method. I'll give as many reminders as I can in the meantime, and I will still only be open to Adult & YA, SFF & romance.

Important: Do not submit to me anything that contains generative AI material.

I'd also like grounded fantasy or magical realism, sci fi, dystopian, paranormal, and select romance. Additionally, I'm seeking contemporary, coming-of-age stories with characters from low-income families and historical fiction featuring historically underrepresented identities.

Just a random #MSWL item - if you have
a romance that can be comped to Taylor Swift’s I Can See You *music video* then I NEED to see it.

I am #opentoqueries until the end of June!
I am looking for:
-Romance (especially paranormal!)
-Coming-of-Age
-LGBT+
-Commercial fiction

A plus if any of the genres above feature Black protagonists, and I love characters that feel ALIVE.

This might be an exception, but I’d be open to a cozy/or high tension contemporary romance that specifically has themes of nature, eco-centric premise, & lovely prose. Give me women in STEAM; Marine Biologists, conservationists, archeologists, park rangers, etc. #MSWL

A classic summer beach read romance but set in a fantasy world #MSWL

"I love a strong romance plotline in a speculative setting, like THE UNDERTAKING OF HART AND MERCY and WINTER'S ORBIT."

Before I close on May 9, if you have an adult, YA or MG that is grounded in reality but has a magical or fantasy component, you should send me that. Romance in YA or Adult preferred, but not required. #MSWL
