Suspense/thriller: I want shocking, twisty books that are instant page-turners! Always looking for works by authors from underrepresented communities but in this genre especially. Would love to see something that also speaks to socioeconomic or other issues (but no focus on politics, please!).

Also helpful to know that I love historical British/BBC mysteries, like Miss Scarlet and the Duke, Endeavor, Grantchester, Dalgliesh. #mswl

#MSWL I'm looking just for MG and YA for original submissions, but agents, most of what I do is IP/work-for-hire on brands and licenses, mostly picture books through chapter books, activity books, and some nonfiction picture books. If you have clients with experience in that space, let me know!

Okay, agent friends, it's #MSWL time! I'm an Associate Editor at Penguin Workshop, looking for middle grade and YA, as well as graphic novels in both categories. right now, I am particularly thirsty for queer romance (high concept, speculative, or historical), grounded fantasy (cozy or literary > epic), and literary fiction about gender and the body, queer and trans histories and futures, and characters who are trying hard to imagine a kinder world.
