#MSWL: For #ChildrensBooks I'm only looking for Middle Grade and Young Adult right now. In the NF children's space I want STEAM-focused titles, anything whimsical and transportive, but has to be light on fantasy/ grounded fantasy (no #scifi for me).

#MSWL: Always on the hunt for prescriptive non-fiction with practical takeaways, #cookbooks with a unique angle or narratives centered on #culinary or #foodie life. Currently loving Mooncakes & Milk Bread by Kristina Cho. Want more southern, Asian-forward, indigenous cookbooks!

#MSWL: Check out @stuartpalley's book Into the Inferno for a good example of what I'm looking to rep in this space. Also: medical narratives, anything shedding light on the #healthcare industry and weaving in history. Books like Heart: A History by Sandeep Jauhur, for example.

#MSWL Economic realities in the late 19th-early 20th century made this a cottage industry for women with few choices. This life offered them independence and respectability. I want more about this in nonfiction and fiction.
