Naomi Davis is BIRTHDAYING and open to select qs @NaomisLitPix
OPEN TO ADULT QS. #MSWL - Adult fantasy w/ COMPLETELY DIFFERENT or thoroughly explored regency structure. Or without recency structure altogether. This is a frequent reason for rejections for my adult fantasy queries, so to expand on this a bit...#MSWL - I see many queries where recency structure was used but was so generic, shallowly formed, &relied on reader assumptions... it sucked the life out of what was otherwise an enticing story. It lost an opportunity to be MORE. Make me yearn to discover what is DIFFERENT here.

Yesterday I read BURN FOR ME by @ilona_andrews and I think I have found a new favorite romance series. It is also exactly what I mean when I say I want paranormal or contemporary fantasy that feels new and different. I want more like this! #mswl
My #MSWL is live! Check out what I'm looking for over here for @BlinkYABooks here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/hann…

I want more small stories in epic settingsWhat I mean: fantasy worlds, galaxy-spanning space confederacies, magical kingdoms, living cities, etc. etc. etc. as settings but a focus on small stories within those settings
I’m still closed to queries, but when I reopen... 👇 #MSWL

Eternal #MSWL! I love a different genre’s story in an SFF setting—especially if the author has cleverly teased out some smart interactions between the two.
