Look at the women dancing with Beyoncé. Size inclusion is really that simple. twitter.com/shharine/statu…Peep the video in this quote tweet. Would love to see a contemporary romance inspired by the backup dancers #MSWL

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but he’s at wizard school.
It’s just that easy to make a new genre of film, fellas.

Anyway, there are so many tropes about magical artifacts. How about a ring quest where the colonizers took all the gold—ring included? How about conquerors who couldn’t get the sword out of the stone, so they took the whole damn stone as a trophy, like with the Egyptian obelisks? How about an anticolonial twist on the scholar-hero who seeks “lost” or “underutilized” arcana from cultures not their own? #MSWL
Read this @hopkins_exhibit article on the questions that one #SFF work, #BlackPanther, asks of the museum studies field:

hey @guardian, i fixed your headline for you pic.twitter.com/p0Fu06bZgCI can’t stop thinking about this.
Someone write me a reverse, PoC Howard Carter #SFF novel where cultural artifacts are repatriated to their rightful inheritors. Give me the fantasy or future tech inverse heist novel. #MSWL twitter.com/_iwakeli_i/sta…

Denmark has erected its first statue of a Black woman. ‘Queen Mary’ honors Mary Thomas, a resister of colonial oppression pic.twitter.com/x8B6uRYMt0Okay so Queens of the Fireburn is an incredible title for a fantasy novel, so if someone could take inspiration from this bit of history and write an epic fantasy about a trio of black women rising up and starting a magical revolution that would be great #mswl #ownvoices
