I'd love to see LIS submissions in which the group attacking the hero/heroine has women at all levels. Usually when the villains are part of a group or taking out hits on them, the grunts are men, and women are only involved if they are behind it all and/or hiring hit men. #mswlPut women on the front lines too. Have them as the ones taking orders and trying to kill/kidnap the characters. They can also be dishonorably discharged ex-military now trying to supplement incomes with criminal activity. Or whatever else. It doesn't always have to be men. #mswl

THE ENGLISH GAMEIf you liked Downton Abbey, you’ll love this new show from creator Julian Fellowes. Here he tackles the story of two footballers on opposite sides of a class divide who forge a bond that helps bring the upper-class sport to the masses in England, circa 1870. pic.twitter.com/oql0eceD1U
I just started watching this and I hereby request a Victorian football romance ⚽️💖 #mswl

There are many ways to tell #ownvoices stories about queer identity, Asian/diaspora culture, & HEAs that don’t endanger real people! Clearly there’s a market for it, which is great!Write your own. These themes—love, identity, marriages of convenience—are everywhere & universal.
This is just to say, I am still *extremely here* for all your super queer CRAZY RICH ASIANS meets EMPIRE OF SAND novels. #mswl
