Diverse fantasies please!

More diverse characters, cultures and authors.

#amquerying #amwriting-with holiday celebrations canceled due to covid and everything quiet on the publishing side I have more time than usual to read queries. Send me all your #YA. Sharing my #MSWL in this thread.

Exciting thing #2: Hannah is now open to submissions! 📚

You can find out what she's looking for here: lbabooks.com/agents/hannah-…, and please do review our updated submissions guidelines when querying. #mswl #amquerying

I need more serious, deeply researched and intimate nature writing in my life! Could be nonfiction like the hidden life of trees or fiction like bearskin #mswl

In case #mswl isn’t clear, our website has been updated as people had been telling me my list there was a bit confusing. Right now I would love some young adult or adult psychological thrillers!

I hope you're enjoying my #MSWL tweets, because now my profile on the website is live and you can see even deeper into the types of stories I'm dying to represent!

#MSWL = romance with a dash of awkward.

Her: I love animals
Him: I work with animals
Her: Are you a vet?
Him: No, I’m a butcher.

“Standout single subject books tend to grab me really quickly. If you think your project is too niche, I might be right for you.” @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

Looking for this as well!! #mswl

I have been asking for this for a while, too. Please send! #MSWL

*As always, include this tweet somewhere in your query!

Hello. Yes please. And don’t bother translating for white folks. Just write it. Thanks. #mswl

“A crime drama that takes place in the latter half of the 19th century during the Tong Wars in San Francisco's Chinatown” = a description of awesome TV show Warrior and also on my #mswl ❤️

On my #MSWL too! Epic fantasy that broadens the category outside its "typical" settings (read: the European-inspired settings that publishing has poured money into while passing over fantasy from non-white cultures) is fantasy I want to represent.

“I love all the graphic novels. Send me the next LAURA DEAN, PUMPKINHEADS, or ALWAYS HUMAN.” @readbystephanie #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Perhaps it's the Twitter algorithm, but I've seen a couple of other heist tweets today, so this is a reminder! I will, of course also accept treasure hunting books, and if they're queer, so much the better. #MSWL
